How do I install the plugin?

1. Download it by clicking the “Download” button above, then “Download” again on the WordPress.org website you’ll be redirected to.
2. Upload the ZIP file to your web server and extract the contents into your WordPress installation’s /wp-content/plugins directory. This is the only step that requires some technical knowledge.
3. Make sure the files are owned and writable by your web server user.
4. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress administration.
5. To install the optional sidebar widget, browse to the Apperance menu, Widgets sub-menu and drag “CATS Sidebar” onto one of the visible sidebars on the right.
6. To complete the setup, browse to the Settings menu, CATS JobSite sub-menu.

What does the CATS WordPress plugin do?

In a nutshell:

• It adds a Jobs page which lists all of your public jobs.
• Visitors can sort and search your jobs.
• Visitors can click on a job to view a detailed description where they can apply or send the job to a friend.
• Visitors can register and add themselves to your database.
• Once registered, they can login to view jobs they’ve recently applied to, view their profile and view and update their most recent resume.
• When visitors apply, they complete your CATS job applications where you can setup the questions to ask and perform actions based on their responses.
• It integrates seamlessly with your CATS account using the API. Email notifications are sent out when candidates apply and they’re added to your database instantaneously.
• Sidebar widgets list most recently viewed and “top” jobs.
