New Feature: Search Relevance

You’ve been asking for search relevance, and now it’s here. You’ll notice the relevance icon whenever you do a keyword search. Searches are automatically sorted by relevance to deliver the best matches, but you can always change the sort by clicking the heading for a particular column.

Relevance is determined by a scoring algorithm that includes keyword hits and the proximity of keywords to each other. Importantly, the scoring gives greater weight to fields that you enter, like  “key skills,” than words in a candidate resume which may contain less relevance.

This improves our existing search capabilities, which includes boolean operators, custom filters, and custom sorting.

Go ahead, get started by trying out a search on your candidates screen in the “search this grid” box.
