If you are using Microsoft Exchange, we have some great news. CATS has recently expanded the email integration to include the popular email service. You can now save time and streamline your workflow by using our email integration.
Email integration automatically logs emails to and from candidates and contacts to their corresponding records in your CATS account. After a quick setup process, there’s no more switching between your inbox and CATS or pasting emails into the system. It handles all your incoming and outgoing messages to candidates and contacts.
CATS periodically checks for email messages to and from your candidates and contacts. When it finds a match, it logs an activity with the full contents of the email to the record and adds any relevant attachments. Please note that the system only logs new messages, not messages prior to enabling email integration.
A site administrator can set it up by going to Settings > My Profile, and clicking “Configure” in the “Email Integration” section. The next screen attempts to automatically detect your email settings. In most cases, you’ll only need to enter the password you use with your email account in the “Password” field. If you are unsure what values should go into the email settings fields, contact your IT team or check the settings provided by your email provider.
Once you click save and the email settings become validated, you’ll be taken back to your profile.
